Specs & Information
Each of our airplanes are maintained to the highest standard, and the PAC 750 makes that easy. It’s an incredibly reliable aircraft with a 750 hp (560 kW) Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6 turboprop engine. This skydiving plane can reach a maximum speed of 196mph, has an average cruise speed of 160mph, and has an average climbing speed of about 100mph. It has an impressive rate of climb up to 2,000 ft per minute and can take up to 17 parachutists to altitude in under 15 minutes.
This aircraft can easily reach an altitude of 20,000 feet, which makes it the perfect plane for our high altitude skydives, which reach an altitude of around 17,500 feet. Piedmont Skydiving has outfitted this aircraft with an oxygen system specifically for these types of skydives.
When you arrive at Piedmont Skydiving, you won’t be able to miss the PAC when it pulls up the airstrip. Its beautiful colors are hard to miss, and the sound of the engine is its own kind of symphony. The PAC 750 is an impressive aircraft to the most experienced skydivers. But, if you’ve never been skydiving before, you’ll still be able to enjoy its beauty, comfort, and reliability.
