The PAC 750 XL Skydiving Plane

The PAC 750 XL carries up to 17 jumpers to altitude in under 15 minutes and is the newest member of the Piedmont Fleet. As we’ve grown into a bigger and better skydiving facility over the years of serving Charlotte, Greensboro, the Carolinas and surrounding areas, we’ve found the need to improve our fleet, and this aircraft does just that!

This skydiving plane can reach a maximum speed of 196mph, has an average cruise speed of 160mph, and has an average climbing speed of about 100mph. It has an impressive rate of climb up to 2,000 ft per minute and can take up to 17 parachutists to altitude in under 15 minutes. The PAC can easily reach an altitude of 20,000 feet, which makes it the perfect plane for our high altitude skydives, which reach an altitude of around 17,500 feet.

The King Air A90

Piedmont Skydiving’s King Air A90 was our very first turbine aircraft and is known as “Royal Faithful” around the dropzone. Slightly smaller than the PAC750, this plane is still a favorite of both experienced and tandem skydivers. Its simple and elegant design also makes it a beautiful sight in the sky.

This multi-engine turbine aircraft can carry 13 jumpers to altitude in only about 10 minutes. The King Air’s maximum speed is about 290mph and can climb at a rate over 2,000ft per minute!

Staff is awesome and hilarious ! Best pricing around ..have been twice and booked my third ! Can't get enough ,I love it ! Derek and Matt are the best they will keep you laughing . Best experience of my life and oddly enough I felt very safe doing it ...and continue to keep doing it . The best part once you jump with them..and you love it like I did ..you can buy another jump the same day for only $109 and have a whole year to use it ! I won't be waiting a year to use mine that's for sure . You can't beat that deal ! View was amazing and I wish that was my job every day ! 👍👍👍. Feel the fear and go for it ..you will not regret it and will not stop talking about your experience 😀😀

It was an amazingly fun and exciting family trip! All 5 of us--Mom, Dad, daughter, son, and his girlfriend had a easy and save experience to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday/graduation trip! None of us had ever dived before and this was a great company of energetic people to go with it. They were professional, safety minded, and very easy to get along with. It was as if they matched the instructors with each of our personalities. Josh was my awesome instructor and took excellent care of me from start to finish. I got a bit nauseous on the way down and he adjusted so I had a nice gentle cruise to the ground. 100% would jump again with Piedmont Skydiving.

Totally heart pumping, thrill seeking, mind-blowing, breathtaking and insanely invigorating all at once! The entire Staff are amazing! They're comical yet very professional! Instructor Derek was great! Awesome experience! BEST BIRTHDAY GIFT EVER!!! Can't wait to do this again! 🙂 Highly recommend this place, especially for First Timers! Piedmont Skydiving Rocks!!!!!!
